On May 3, 2025, Postal Petals partnered with the Recording Academy’s LA Chapter and the LA County Fair to bring Grammy-level glamour to the farm-to-table event held at the Pomona Fairgrounds. Our floral designs helped elevate the expansive space, guiding and delighting VIP guests with elegant installations that merged rustic farm vibes with sophisticated glam. To connect with the local community, we hosted a "Flowers for First Responders" Bloom Bar, where attendees created flower arrangements to honor and thank local first responders of the Los Angeles wildfires earlier this year. The result was a vibrant, immersive event that celebrated music, community, and appreciation.
Objectives
The primary objective of this event was to bring the GRAMMYs DREAM LOUNGE experience to life outside the city for LA Chapter members of the Recording Academy, offering a fun, music-filled day in a farm-like setting while maintaining the high standards and comforts expected from a Grammy event. For Postal Petals, this was an opportunity to showcase how we can bring Grammy-level glamour to unexpected spaces by blending farm-to-table aesthetics with floral sophistication. Our designs helped elevate the event's visual storytelling, while our “Flowers for First Responders” Bloom Bar highlighted the Recording Academy’s commitment to community engagement. Ultimately, we aimed to create a sensory-rich experience that celebrated music, community, and gratitude, reinforcing Postal Petals’ mission to use flowers as a means of beauty, connection, and appreciation.
Activation Elements
To bring the vision to life, the Postal Petals team completely transformed the sprawling fairground farm-to-table venue with immersive floral storytelling. The design struck a balance between rustic authenticity and glamour, featuring haystacks, wooden crates, wine barrels, and farm-inspired elements paired with gold accessories and mirrored disco balls. Every design detail supported the Grammys’ glitzy farm-to-table theme while making the vast outdoor space feel intentional and cohesive. Despite the size of the venue, florals were placed strategically to create a high-impact experience without requiring excessive volume or cost.
Event Florals
Seasonal, farm-fresh blooms set the tone for the event, creating a vibrant, cohesive aesthetic across the fairgrounds. Floral installations accentuated key areas like the main stage, back stage, VIP walkways, artist greenrooms, and community zones, reinforcing the event’s rustic-glam theme. Instead of overwhelming the space with excess, Postal Petals focused on design intention, using color, shape, and placement to guide guests and enhance the mood. This approach not only supported the event’s eco-conscious ethos but also proved that meaningful impact doesn’t require maximalism.
Interactive Bloom Bar: Flowers for First Responders
A highlight of the day was the “Flowers for First Responders” interactive Bloom Bar. This activation allowed guests to take part in a hands-on floral arranging experience, crafting over 100 unique bouquets accompanied by handwritten thank-you notes. All materials and guidance were provided, making the experience accessible and inviting. Once completed, these arrangements were delivered to firehouses throughout Pomona as heartfelt gestures of appreciation. This element of the activation created a ripple effect of joy among the guests who made them, the fire fighters who received them, and the community at large.
